It has been an immense privilege and pleasure to undertake this Fulbright Scholar-in-Residenceprogram. The experiences and outcomes that I gained greatly exceeded my expectations. The program has achieved and continues to promote multiple benefits on all sides. Fulbright Scholar in Residence at University of Colorado at Denver, August-December 2010 ---
Current postion: Lecturer at QUT Queensland University of Technology, Education Faculty. Coordinator of Master of Education (Teacher-Librarianship) program ---
Previous experience as librarian and information literacy educator in university, education department and public libraries ---
PhD thesis: "International students using online information resources to learn" QUT, 2009). Reflects my teaching and research interests in information literacy, learner experiences and enhancing learning in culturally diverse and online intensive higher education environments ---
Other qualifications:
Master of Librarianship (University of Sheffield, UK).
BA Combined Honours in Spanish and Romance Linguistics (University of Birmingham, UK).
NAATI accredited translator (Spanish-English).
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Associate of Australian Library and Information Association.
Member of ASLA and SLAQ. ---
